This patch makes terminal input more dependable on the Mac and brings the native iPhone Companion beta much closer to the full remote terminal experience.

Terminal input​

  • Ctrl-C is sent as terminal input, so the foreground process receives SIGINT as expected.
  • Shift-Return works for multiline agent prompts.
  • Automatic Codex compaction submissions now work across the terminal keyboard protocol and paste-burst detection.
  • Run next queues commands behind the terminal that was active when you pressed the shortcut.
  • Claude Code shows diagnostic output when its local plugin installation fails.

iPhone Companion beta​

  • Terminals are grouped into visible project sections and show their provider and Mac placement.
  • Live terminal sessions now include full history, ANSI colors, cursor rendering, raw input, terminal keys, scaling, dropped-frame repair, foreground reconnection, and stale-state warnings.
  • The composer stays above the software keyboard and submits prompts as one composed line.
  • Push alerts carry no terminal content.

The beta is available through TestFlight.
