Saggar 0.37.1

Changes to how models are presented, file annotations, and hooks now work with Sentry, Jira, Zapier, Slack, or any service that sends a webhook, not just GitHub.

New

Picking a model

  • New-session menus offer Shell, then Everyday, Quick, and Hard for Claude and Codex, with every model under All models.
  • Claude models start on effort levels we measured: Opus 5.5 at medium, Fable 5.1 at max, and Sonnet 5 at high.
  • A Codex model set to Default launches on the effort the label shows.

Annotate a file

Annotate file (⌃⌘I) opens any file read-only so you can comment on a line or a range, like a pull request review. Your numbered comments, with the lines they point at, go straight into the agent's prompt.

Hooks for any sender

Choose New hook and pick Sentry, Jira, Jira Automation, Zapier, Slack, or GitHub, and Saggar fills in how to check each delivery is genuine. For anything else, Custom… takes a signed body, a signed timestamp, or a shared secret in a header.

The whole payload is encrypted to your Mac before it leaves the relay, and your hook's own rules decide what happens next. An agent reads the payload as untrusted data, and a hook that launches agents automatically runs them in a fresh worktree, never your checkout. Each hook shows its last delivery, anything it refused, and a button to send a test.

Existing GitHub hooks move over on their own, with the same rules.

Clone from ⌘K

Paste gh repo clone owner/repo, a git clone line, or a repository's URL into ⌘K. Saggar clones it into your development folder and opens it with a terminal ready.

Updated

Supervision you can trust

  • A command Intercept stops can now be approved. The card offers Approve once, and the agent retries that exact command.
  • Parallel subagents that are held each get their own card, naming the subagent and showing the whole command.
  • A held command is highlighted where it sits in the dialog, with a note saying what its variables hold.
  • A terminal no longer stays on Needs you for two minutes after the agent works around a held command.
  • Saggar answers Claude's, Codex's, and Copilot's folder-trust dialog only for projects you added yourself. Supervision no longer answers it on its own.
  • A program asking to read your clipboard now waits for you to allow or deny it, including programs on a remote host.

Sessions that tidy themselves

  • Queued sessions and prompts for a rate-limited provider wait for the limit to reset, and say which one they're waiting for.
  • Merging or closing a pull request now closes its idle agent session, as intended.
  • Set up with AI finishes the getting-started card: .gitignore lines, an emoji, and your editor.

...and also

  • The installed Saggar skill keeps itself up to date, unless you've edited it.
  • A terminal left asleep at launch no longer blinks a cursor over its last screen.
  • Show unfinished work no longer opens the filter field, and reads Hide unfinished work while it's on.
  • ⌘K can switch to projects that already have a terminal, and turn sound effects on or off.
  • saggar job add asks you to schedule a command, and nothing is saved until you approve it.
  • ⌘Return adds an annotated image to the chat from anywhere in the Add image sheet.
