Saggar 0.27.0

This release catches Saggar up with recent Claude Code and Codex changes. Provider setup now adapts to the version installed on your Mac, with clearer guidance when an update or another step is needed.

Claude Code​

  • Claude Code setup is more reliable, repairs incomplete installations, and warns when project or user settings disable Saggar's integration.
  • Restored conversations now reopen the right Claude session more reliably and keep their Saggar names.
  • Chat info now shows Claude's account quota, CLI version, session name, mode, output style, repository, and worktree.
  • Saggar recognizes more requests for permission, browser access, and input, along with API failures such as rate limits, so Needs you appears when it should.
  • Improved how Turbo approves safe commands, making it more reliable.
  • If Claude Code isn't installed, Saggar now uses Anthropic's recommended installer.

Codex​

  • Model choices now match the Codex version installed on your Mac, including the reasoning effort each model supports.
  • Settings includes a reasoning-effort choice for Codex and explains when its hooks still need approval through /hooks.
  • Saggar reliably recognizes Codex requests to edit files, run commands, access network hosts, and use MCP tools. Permission alerts also clear once the approved command starts.
  • Chat info now shows the Codex CLI version and account quota, including the reset time and plan.

Interface and reliability​

  • Provider settings show the installed CLI version and explain when an older version limits a feature. Older Codex versions also start a fresh session when they can't resume one.
  • Branch and Git status chips no longer freeze, disappear during a commit, or go stale after a slow status check.
  • Terminal scrollback keeps a visible scrollbar thumb.
  • Project status marks stay with the right row when projects reorder.
  • Monitor and Quick Run rows use a smaller label and one clearer leading status mark.
  • The new Tips page collects easy-to-miss interactions, including previews, project menu shortcuts, Command-key labels, and drag actions.
